The Boy King In Queens by Tammy Ryan

The Boy King In Queens centers around the transport of the “Treasures of Tutankhamun” exhibit of 1978 into the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Told from the point of view of the working-class family whose patriarch is the Teamster truck driver responsible for moving the artifacts into the museum, the play explores themes of family, class, and the collisions between generations both contemporary and ancient.

The Wire by Leah Ryan

Leah Ryan’s The Wire which is about a family of high wire circus act performers all of whom, at one time or another have had “the dream,” the nightmare really, about being up on the high wire in front of thousands of people. In the dream, you start to fall. Then everyone else starts to fall. And then you wake up. Or else, you don't. And if you manage to survive, perhaps even the simple act of setting foot on the floor will seem impossible.
